Another Way Retreat: A 5-Day Call and Response with Soul
We are designed for wholeness. We are inextricably woven into a great and mysterious web of belonging from which we can never be shunned. We are here to love and be loved. We are made for joy. When we trust in these sources of truth and connection, anxiety in all of its forms quiets down.
In our increasingly fast and fragmented world, one informed by a fear-and-scarcity mindset, it can be difficult to remember our wholeness, abundance, and places of belonging. The world is often too loud for soul to be heard. But for those of us who are paying attention, we sense that another way is dancing along the edges of consciousness, longing to be birthed into its full, radiant light. The divine feminine is here, and the sacred masculine is her midwife. The natural world is beckoning us to wake up. We are on a magnificent threshold, and it’s time for us to listen.
This is where the power of retreat enters. Since ancient times the priestesses of Demeter held space for people to reconnect with their soul. By taking time out of regular life, invoking the Mystery, and gathering in community with like-minded and open-hearted others, we can begin to hear the soul. Following verdant pathways that lead us back to the center of the labyrinth, we return to the core of who we are and are guided into what is needed during this time in our lives, both personally and collectively.
Through dreamwork, connecting with nature and each other, creativity, rituals, meaningful practices from our ancestral traditions, and, above all, honoring the needs and rhythms of our bodies, we will walk the pathways of the labyrinth as we communicate with soul in a gentle song of call and response, all the while reconnecting to Anima Mundi, the Soul of the World.

Calling on ancient rites, within the sacred and powerful vessel of ritual, we will create the space for:
Shame to be healed in the web of belonging
Worry to transmute into trust
Doubt to surrender into knowing
Intergenerational patterns to be released into the fire
The mother wound to unfold into nurturing
The father wound to widen into protection
Grief to water the land
Scarcity to be transformed into abundance
Letting go of what no longer serves, we become more fully who we’re meant to be. This will be a time to step into the mystics, poets, priestesses, and priests we’ve always been. This doesn’t mean that anything in our outer lives has to change – and it certainly doesn’t mean more “doing.” Rather, when we step into our true nature, we embrace the goodness of life as it is, and we bring the gifts of our goodness into the world.
By the end of five nourishing days together, you will have an embodied experience of living in the rhythm in a way that allows you to hear your soul’s gifts: the subtle, quiet whispers we can only hear when we slow down enough to listen.
From this place of ground, clarity, and wholeness, you will return to the world with a template and lived experience of the practices that lead you to your place of true home, where you feel held, good, and whole, and with new friends who will accompany you on the journey.
